Day 2: YO! Sushi

Ended up at Pavilion mall which was near the other end of Jalan Bukit Bintang. Had a late lunch/early dinner at about 5-6pm at Yo! Sushi in the lower level of Pavilion mall where Food Republic was.

Sushi train buffet for RM32++ (++ = 10% service charge and 7% government tax) per person. That equates to about AUD18-19 after the extra charges. Mmm. I love sushi~

All you can eat from the train (or you can order from in the menu/booklet) plus unlimited miso/green tea.

Here's what we ate:

Salmon nigiri

Chawan mushi - steamed egg custard with mushroom, crabmeat and edamame. The waitress ordered this for us so it came to us hot. It was okay.

Sesame seared salmon. Mmm. Gotta love salmon!

Salmon dragon inside out roll

Soft shelled crab with yuzu tobiko inside out roll. This was interesting.

Eel dragon inside out roll. The eel didn't taste that great.

Crunchy prawn and avocado inside out roll This was.. interesting too.

Crispy duck and moromi miso futomaki.

Teriyaki salmon

Seasonal fruit - dragon fruit, watermelon, strawberry, grapes, pineapple, honey dew melon. Fruit was yummy~

Dorayaki with raspberry sauce. Mmmm.. I really liked this. The dorayaki was so soft and fluffy and it went great with the raspberry sauce. Yum!

Smoked salmon and cream cheese inside out roll. This was.. not so good. The cream cheese made it weird.

Chuda idako - baby octopus. Mmm..

If you weren't having the buffet, you could purchase plates separately. They're colour coded:

And here are the locations of Yo! Sushi.

This was my first time having sushi train. I don't even eat this in Melb cos it's too pricey. But this was fun and filling and didn't break the bank. ;D

Total bill was RM73.60 for 2 people (~AUD33.86, or 16.93 per person) :)

All sushi-ed out in KL. XD
